Hey friends!
Happy Weekend!
I feel like it has been awhile since I have done a try on session blog post! So I decided to bring it back! I love H&M, but tend to get lost in the large store filled with tons of racks! I went in my local H&M this week, and poured through the racks and tried on a variety of items that are available online.
The sizing also has seemed to change for the better! I feel everything I tried on fit TTS. This blog post is filled with my H&M try-on with sizing and fit details. If you have any questions about any items please feel free to message me.

This sweater was one of my favorites! I tried on the medium because they didn’t have any other size, so I would say this sweater fits TTS. You could even size down one if you didn’t want it extra loose. I immediately ordered this sweater in black, but got a small. This sweater is not too thick, and would be a great sweater for fall. Some sizes are out of stock, so scoop this one if you your size is in stock! $19 and such a good buy!
This midi skirt I grabbed while walking to the dressing room and I am so glad I did! It came home with me. It has a pleated elastic waist and pockets! I love how this skirt looks with an oversized sweater, but also would could be styled with a fitted top as well. It was extremely comfortable and fit TTS. For reference, I am wearing a size 4.
Same sweater (IN X-SMALL) but with jeans! Again, such a great versatile sweater that comes in 4 colors and will be perfect for fall. Again, I ordered a small in black thinking it will fit a little better.
I posted these distressed jeans on my Instagram feed this week and y’all loved them. I don’t think I own anything this distressed, but the fit of them was just too good to pass up. I loved the button fly, high waisted and comfortable fit. I first tried on a 27, but decided a 26 was a better fit on my waist in this pair of jeans. (wearing 26 in this photo)
I love a good silky blouse. They can be worn to the office, but also look amazing with jeans if you are wanting to dress up your look. I like them a little over-sized on me, and thought this style of blouse was a great option. This blouse comes in 5 other prints too! Be sure to click here for the blouse prints. And y’all did I mention….this blouse is $15!!!!!!
These are another pair of H&M jeans that I was super impressed by! They fit TTS and were extremely comfy! I loved the high-waist and the classic dark wash. These jeans are just $25, so a good price on a pair of good quality jeans.
When I saw this blazer I knew I had to try it on. I love that plaid is back in style and there are so many chic ways to style your “grandpas” plaid. This blazer is longer, like a cardigan, so I loved that it covered most of my behind. I also love that you can mix plaid with other prints for a unique look.
This plaid blazer is only $35, has large pockets on the front and fits TTS. You could size down one size if you wanted it to be more fitted. I liked how the 4 fit, because I am thinking about styling it with my faux leather leggings this fall!
Another more traditional look with this blazer. I loved these $10 lace sleeve tops. They come in 8 different colors and a dressy top to style by itself, or you can easily layer it with a blazer or cardigan. This top fit TTS.
I can’t do a try on without stripes! This collarless stripe top would be perfect for the office. I love the soft silky material and liked the change up of no collar. I did find the collared version online that comes in several colors, prints and stripes. Both blouses are $25. And it comes in a leopard print!!
Ok, this blouse is the same style as the blue print one above. I wanted to show you a more oversized look with this blouse. I loved this black silky print too. I tried this blouse on in a 6. I do think I will end up with a 4 in this blouse, but the 6 worked great too if I wanted it more over-sized and longer.
When a girl finds a longer plaid top that is under $20…she grabs! I loved this basic plaid top that is great for styling and layering as the weather gets cooler. This particular plaid would look great underneath the camel sweater I tried on earlier. This shirt comes in several plaid prints and fits TTS.
Another great sweater option that comes in gray, blush and blue as well. This sweater fits TTS and perfect for layering as it isn’t too thick.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find this exact sweater online, but I am still looking. It was under $20 and had the most comfortable fit. And yes, still wearing the jeans I didn’t want to take off! LOVED THEM! ;). I did find some similar options in the same color.
This sweater is another extremely comfortable one. It is longer so would be great with leggings as well. It is only $20 and comes in several other solid colors too. Fits TTS.
I paired it with these plaid pants that were very comfortable and would look amazing with a pair of heels or even sock booties! I am holding the waist in the back, so I would recommend getting your normal size in these. I needed a smaller size but it wasn’t available to try on. I am just loving all the plaid that is out! 🙂
DRESSES
I loved this plaid dress! I felt like the fit was very flattering and the puff shoulders gave it a feminine look. The length was perfect too. This dress is THE perfect business dress. It would look amazing with a pair of pumps.
This NAVY floral dress also fit comfortably. Another great more casual work option that you can throw a cardigan over. The tie waist gathers in the back and you can choose to tie it in the front or back. This dress is also lined, so it is not see through. This print also comes in a cute short sleeve blouse. click here for the blouse. This dress also comes in an olive green and black patterned option.
Y’all these dresses are the same style and fit soooooo good. I tried on a size 8, which was a little big, so I think would have gotten a 6 if they had it in my size. These were GONE in most sizes. They are THE perfect throw on dress. Very comfortable and I loved the prints. The leopard is completely sold out, but it is available in a black and a beige. I wanted to still show you the dress because it was one of my favorites and only $25!
Here is another peek at this skirt, but styled with this cute short sleeve pin tuck blouse that comes in white too. It was a part of my daily finds a few days ago because it went on sale for $17! This skirt unfortunately is sold out in most sizes, but I found a few midi skirts that are similar and will keep an eye out on the restocks!
I hope you enjoyed this try-on session! I have linked all items that I have tried on, plus a few favorites in this blog post as well as on the blog under try-ons.
