MARCH RECAP

Another birthday month has come and gone and we finished rodeo season here in Houston! March is always a busy month for us, because of the start of baseball season for two of my boys + rodeo! Craziness!

So, now both boys are playing baseball again and games have just kicked off. My oldest is playing his first season of kid pitch, which has been interesting to watch. There is a lot of stealing bases in kid pitch. πŸ˜‰ Davis is still playing coach pitch, and I thought it was adorable when he came down stairs for his first game and asked, “Mom is this how Jose Altuve wears his socks?” Those are the sweetest memories.

We also took an AMAZING vacation with friends to Tahoe and skied at the Sierra at Tahoe Resort! This was our first ski trip and my boys first plane ride. I thought about writing a blog post about the trip but then realized I still don’t know anything about skiing or the snow! πŸ˜‰ Haha! So, maybe next year on that one.

We borrowed most items from friends and invested in a couple of things for when we go again! Ski clothes are expensive! The trip was a lot of fun and we made such wonderful memories. My boys both loved ski school and learned a little each day they went! Of course, Bryson was ready for a black by the end of day one. ;P That kid! πŸ™‚ We also went snow mobiling and the boys had a blast doing that! For sure a trip that we will repeat as the boys continue to get older and hopefully little W can join us soon.

#1 & #3 FAVORITES

You may recognize this outfit from my recent blog post. This dress came in and is the cutest little black dress for any spring and summer occasion. It unfortunately was a little too short for my 5’6 self, so I styled it 4 other ways on the blog and LOVED every one of them! Check out the post here.

This clutch has been my go to when styling spring and summer looks! It is a great size and comes with a small gold chain if you prefer to carry it on your shoulder or as a crossbody. The gold detail on the handle is gorgeous. This bag is such a high-quality bag and I am so glad I snagged it for the warmer months! I know why it was a favorite last month! Click here to get yours.

I am just as excited about these low heel wedges as y’all were! They are extremely comfortable and I love the fit. If you don’t like to wear high wedges, these are a pair to try. They fit TTS and come in black and gold also. I loved the cognac color for spring, and of course now trying to decide if I need the black pair. Click here to get yours.

My bracelet stack has also been a go to favorite. I don’t wear a lot of bracelets and necklaces because honestly I am always rushing out the door with the kids, my earrings are all I usually remember to throw on. But these two bracelets go with every thing. I love the double wrap bracelet and ordered it the first day I spotted it on sale! It comes in gold, silver and a pretty rose gold. My link bracelet was just an added third layer to complete the look. Click here to check out the link bracelet and here for the wrap one. They are usually both on sale!

#4 FAVORITE J Crew Factory one shoulder swimsuit. The fit is TTS or go down one if in between. (comes in several colors) I am wearing the navy.
other details: Target earrings | Amazon hat | Nordstrom shorts

I am so glad I ordered this swim suit to try. For reference, I ordered my true size and a size smaller because sometimes this retailer runs big. Both fit great, but I ended up keeping one size down from my normal just because I liked the tighter fit up top. I love that the ruffle goes all the way around and the support and coverage is perfect for this momma of 3! πŸ™‚ Click here to get yours. (comes in several colors and a stripe)

shop the look: #5 FAVORITE cami (comes in several colors) | earrings

I picked up this cami during their last sale after trying it on. If you are on the hunt for a basic cami this one comes in tons of colors and the fit is great. I love the scalloped detail too. It is great for wearing alone when the weather gets hot, but also an excellent choice if you need camis for work. They would look great under a cardigan, blazer, or denim jacket. The straps are also adjustable in the back. For reference, this cami runs TTS for me. If you are concerned about the bust area being tight, I would size up one. Click here to check it out!

shop the look: # 7 FAVORITE Nordstrom shorts (I went up one size for a loose boyfriend fit) | #6 FAVORITE Nordstrom tanks- these tanks fit TTS (wearing the white, and also have in the burnt clay)

other details: Target hat | DSW slip on shoes TTS

#6 AND #7 FAVORITE

Ok, this has to be one of my favorites, my most favorite! These tanks are THE BEST! And I can see why they are a monthly favorite. If you are on the hunt for a tank for the summer time, look no further. These fit great and the fit is TTS. I have it in a white and also ordered the burnt clay color! (Hey UT fans!! ;). It is perfect for layering, but will be great for our HOT summer days! Click here to get yours.

Next up, I have had these shorts since last summer and they are back on the favorite list. I was on the fence on sizing, so I ordered my true size plus a size up. Only because I don’t like my shorts tight on my legs. I ended up keeping the size up and LOVE the fit. They are more of a splurge, but so comfortable. They wear and wash really well too! Mine have been washed and dried too many times to count! Click here to get yours.

#8 FAVORITE Target stripe top TTS $18

A blue and white stripe top in my opinion is the perfect spring and summer blouse! And its only $18! A classic and total fave for the month! Click here to get yours.

#9 FAVORITE : Target swimsuit

Another navy swimsuit made the favorite’s list. This one is under $40 and the fit was spot on. The back has the cutest ties that are adjustable and the fit is full coverage. Click here to get yours before sizes sell out for summer.

#10 FAVORITE : TARGET jumpsuit $28

I was excited to try this $28 jumpsuit and thought it would make a great Easter outfit, spring outfit and really anytime outfit. πŸ™‚ I love the blue and white stripe and thought the wrap front detail was so flattering. For reference, the small was a tad too big, so if you are smaller up top and through the back, I would recommend trying a size down. Click here to get yours.

MONTHLY REPEATS

  1. Target basic t-shirts $8 TTS
  2. Target backpack $36 (comes in 2 colors)
  3. DSW black sneakers $69 TTS

These items keeping popping up month after month! They are truly favorites that can be used year round and I have gotten so much use out of all of them!

I love putting together these monthly recaps and favorites! Which was your favorite? I would love to hear in the comments!
