20+ Casual Legging Outfits

Look details with Spanx leggings (small)

Outfit 1 details: stripe tunic top (medium)

Outfit 2 details: add a pullover – similar leopard pullover

Outfit 3 details: olive green jacket (xs-runs big) | black sneakers

First basic pieces you need a layering t-shirts, the longer the better, so you have the option to wear them by themselves or with jackets.

I love styling my faux leather leggings with tunic T-shirts and sneakers. If I need a casual run around town look this will be it. You can easily add layers when the weather starts to get chilly. This v neck tunic tee is a great Amazon affordable option and it comes in other stripe colors and solids. I sized up for a longer / looser fit. When the weather gets chiller you can add your layers like an olive green field jacket. I love this one because it is a little longer in the back to give you that leggings coverage. This jacket runs big in size, so I recommend sizing down one size and you still have the length in the back.

Outfit 4 details: mock neck pullover (small) with white tunic tee (medium)

Outfit 5 details: white tunic tee(medium) | white sneakers

Keeping it very casual with another style with an affordable tunic tee. This one has more of a scoop neck and comes in severals colors. I sized up to a medium to make sure I had plenty of length to wear with my leggings. Threw on my white sneakers for an edgier look, but still keeping it very casual. I love this mock neck pullover that comes in a few gorgeous fall colors. The fit is true to size (small) and the length is perfect to wear with leggings.

Outfit 6 details: tunic henley top (tts) | black sneakers

I love having good pair of black sneakers, to style causally with my leggings. This pair has been restocked in almost all sizes and fit tts. I also love this henley top because it has an oversized fit which makes it great with leggings. Grab your true size in this one.

More casual sneakers:

Outfit 7 details: henley top | denim jacket | mules *another mule option

Now, if you want to dress up your henley look just a tad, but still keep it comfortable and causal – take away the sneakers and add a slip on mule like this pair from Target. They fit tts and work really well for everyday outfits or work wear!

Outfit 8 details: tunic length pullover (tts) | sneakers

Pullovers are my favorite and this one is an oldie but goodie. It is light weight and works well when creating a casual leggings look. It also comes in several color options as well.

MORE PULLOVERS I LOVE

Outfit 9 details: pullover (tts) | white sneakers

I loved this cozy pullover I bought during the Nordstrom Sale. It is extremely soft & will be perfect to throw on for chilly morning. This is basically my outfit on chilly flag football mornings or my casual weekend look.

Outfit 9 details: stripe dolman long sleeve top (small) | athletic lightweight jacket | black sneakers

Outfit 10 details: Cardigan (medium) | stripe tee (tts) | leopard mules

Outfit 11 details: blazer (tts) | black stripe tee (tts) | black mules

Casual layers:

Outfit 12 details: blazer (tts) | white tunic tee (medium) | mules (tts or go up a half size) * I always do in mules | Here is a similar mule since sizes are very limited in mine.

A tad dressier in that same white tunic tee from above, just throwing on my cardigan blazer again to dress it up a tad but still keeping it casual for a lunch date or school meeting!

Outfit 13 details: white tunic tee | denim jacket | mules

Outfit 14 details: field jacket (xs)

Outfit 15 details: Cardigan (tts) | white tee | leopard mules (size up if in between)

A longer cardigan is also another great basic to style with your faux leather leggings. It’s the perfect fall layer and great for chilly weather.

I also love this cardigan option as well. (tts)

Outfit 16 details: similar tunic sweater | vest (sized down for a tailored look) | mules

Outfit 17 details: similar sweater |

Outfit 18 details: cardigan (tts) | chambray top (tts) | leopard mules

Outfit 19 details: blazer (tts) | chambray top (tts) | black mules

Outfit 20 details: cardigan (medium)

Mules are a staple in my closet and easy to throw on when you are sticking to a causal look, but are wanting to take it up just a notch but still be comfortable.

More shoe picks:

Outfit 21 details: leopard tee | field jacket | slip on black shoes

If you have shorter tees like this leopard tee that is just a great basic to have, but isn’t quite long enough to wear along, wrap a jacket around your waist or zip up your jacket like I did with my field jacket!

That is a wrap on easy obtainable casual looks wearing your faux leather Spanx leggings. If you haven’t grabbed a pair yet, you can check them out below. I went with my true size, but if you feel like you are in between sizes, than definitely size up one.

I hope this post was helpful for those looking to style their Spanx faux leather leggings. If you are not wanting to pay full price for the Spanx brand I have heard great things about this pair. I don’t have them, so I can’t give you a full review on them. I just want to be able to give you another option.

So, just remember….basic tees, cardigans, pullovers and causal shoes and you are set to creating your own looks for less with your faux leather leggings! Happy Styling!
