Well, it is that time again and the NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE went LIVE for cardholders this week. Do you love the sale? Are you a shopper? I personally love this sale because it gives me the opportunity to stock up on closet staples, update my beauty products and look for affordable gift ideas for the holidays. I always snag one or two things for my husband too.
If you do plan to shop the sale. This blog post will give you the details you need to shop. So let’s chat about it. The Nordstrom sale allows card holders to shop first. Sometimes that can be taken the wrong way, but I just look at it as any other sale out there, the retailer wants you to get their cc, so they offer extra incentives. I.E. I’ve seen retailers through out the year offer extra 20% off if you have their card. Now, with that being said you don’t need to hurry and apply for a card if you don’t typically shop Nordstrom. You can still shop the sale and get the items you love when the sale opens to the public on July 28th this year. And I noticed last year, items DO come back in stock and they DO go on sale again if you miss the first sale.
This sale is really fun and you can snag some great pieces at affordable prices + you can’t beat FREE shipping and FREE returns. I typically will order a few things that I think are great staples to have. After giving my opinion/review on each item, I decide what I want to keep and send the rest back. Do I order everything….no. I like to pick and choose the best items from the sale that I know will be staples in my closet for fall or a gift idea for a loved one. My shopping day is July 16th. When is the Anniversary Sale?
- PREVIEW – Make your wishlist STARTED July 6th
- All card members can shop Early Access starting July 16th – or earlier depending on your Nordstrom card status
- Anniversary sale opens to the public July 28-August 8th. Prices go back up Aug. 9th.
- Online shopping begins 3am ET/12am PT

HOW TO CHECKOUT YOUR WISHLIST
If you tried out the wishlist option last year and loved it, it is back this year! The wishlist makes it easy to add and take away all the items you are loving or wanting to snag during the sale.
- Click here to get to your wishlist
- Click Edit in the upper right corner
- Click your 1st item then “select all”
- Add to Bag will move all items selected to your cart
A question I get a lot when someone is making a purchase through my designated link, is how to ensure they are doing it properly so I can get the credit. I always check out the bag selection and this year I have my eye on this expanding tote for all the mom and travel things. Plus this tote bag looks gorgeous and such a classic item. It is going on my wishlist and immediately sending to hubby.😉

Another popular category that can sell out fast are shoes. So be sure to grab your size and check out fast if you are interested in any shoes this year. I’m hoping to snag these sneakers and a new pair of slippers this year. Check out all shoes here.
And running shoes are also a great item to browse if you are needing new ones. I plan to grab the Ultra Boosts if they stay in stock or the ASICS. I’ve heard a lot about the ON brand too – they are on sale!

Another year catcher I bought years ago that has been a great investment piece is the suede moto jacket, and my Spanx faux leather leggings.
Quay sunnies are typically a best seller during the Nordstrom sale because they run around $30-$40. There are also splurge worthy sunnies too like this pair or this one.
Last year I kept one pretty top from the NSale and love browsing the category. If you are needing blouses for work or evenings out, these first 4 caught my eye. Which one do you love?
