J.Crew Factory Fall Try-On

Hey friends,

It’s been awhile since I did a blog post try on session, and I did something a little different this time! I was searching for dresses for family pictures and no time to hit the stores, so I placed an online order and thought I would show y’all what I ordered!

1. Cream sweater

Loving all the neutral sweaters J.Crew Factory right now.  Easy for layering, dressing up or down.  This one was a little thicker sweater and fit TTS.  I love the low mock neck this one has.

2. Stripe skirt

When I ordered this skirt it reminded me of the one that sold out from my try-on session at H&M.  This one comes in two different stripes, and I am a sucker for navy!  I styled this skirt with the same cream sweater from above, but any sweater will do!

3. Plaid scarf

If I counted my J.Crew Factory scarves in my closet, you might be concerned.  I love these scarves.  They aren’t too big or too small.  I love the fabric and they make the perfect wrap too!  You can easily throw these around your neck for added layers with a coat, or fold in half to wear it like a blanket scarf.   Some scarves are so big you don’t know what to do with them.  This one comes in this gorgeous neutral, as well as so many more.

4. Hooded coat

These coats are great options to the original J.Crew coat.  I love the pockets on this hooded coat.  It has front large pockets, but also side pockets as well.  For reference, this coat runs TTS.  They also come in navy and a camel color too.

5. City coat

This is their original city coat.  It comes in several colors and pretty similar to the one above except it doesn’t have the hood.  I feel like this one is a little less bulky as well.

6. Floral print dress

This dress is one option for my fall family pictures.  I loved the print on this dress and the front wrap detail.  This dress is perfect for fall, and would also be a great work option too.

7. Bodysuit

I am new to trying the bodysuit trend, but I loved this one!  It was fun styling it with this skirt, but also would love it with jeans and a blazer!  So many options!! It would be great for the office, but also dressed down with a pair of high waisted jeans.  I am going to style it with my sweater blazer next.

8. Burgundy dress: (comes in black too)

Another pretty dress that is an option for fall family photos.  I love this color, it is so bright and great for the holidays too.  I would layer a faux fur vest over it for a layered look or throw a leopard belt around the waist for a little pop.

10. Leopard Flats TTS

Y’all have seen this gingham shirt probably way too many times, but it is a favorite and I wear it every chance I get.  It fits true to size and comes in navy too.  (yes I have the navy as well) ;).  This shirt is perfect for layering under sweaters too!

11. Puffer Vest (size down for fitted look)

These vests are my favorite.  They work great with almost any outfit.  I love layering them with causal dresses, but also look great layered with plaid shirts and jeans!  They come in several colors, and this year I spotted a camo and buffalo check one!  CUTE!  I personally sized down one size in this vest for a more fitted look.

I hope you enjoyed this at home try on session!  Which piece is your favorite?  All items are linked for direct shopping!
