You requested and I listened. Y’all are wanting teacher/office looks + fall transitional outfits that can be worn now, but also brought into fall. I love getting repeating outfits throughout the season by adding layers and changing up my accessories. This post is a filled looks from Old Navy and Target.
First up is Old Navy. For reference, I am 5’6 and typically wear a small, 2-4 in this brand. Everything fits TTS unless noted.

This cardigan and leopard tank were two favorites and I loved how the blush cardigan brought out the pink in the top. Both fit TTS. The tank comes in other color/print option is is perfect for layering.
This cardigan is 100% a good one! Not itchy, soft and comfy. I am already looking at a second color.
In this try on, you will see these pointed toe flats I tried and was extremely impressed with the comfort and fit. If in between go up to the next full size. (several colors available)
I loved the fit of these jeans. They are a straight leg but still hug the ankle area just a tad. They come in a light and dark wash.
I didn’t love the fit of this top on me, but still wanted to share. The back opens up and it does come in several color options. It was comfortable, but the style just didn’t fit me how I had envisioned. Click here to check it out.
The prettiest high low hem dress. I loved everything about this one. It comes in several colors and can easily be styled for any occasion. (colors available) This dress was one of my favorites. I loved the fit and the length. It also comes in other colors.
Plaid shirt dress with functioning buttons. It comes in another color choice and fits TTS. Love this color for fall and these dresses can easily be styled with leggings and tall boots for fall. Old Navy usually comes out with several of these dresses. They are a great basic dress that can be dressed up or down.
This dress is the exact fit as the yellow dress above. I loved the pretty baby blue color and eyelet detail. Also would look great with a denim jacket. This dress also comes in a pretty pink/coral color.
I wish this jumpsuit had been around when I was teaching. It is so stretchy, soft and comfortable. Perfect for teaching too! If you aren’t a stripes person it does come in solid colors as well. I can’t stress enough how comfortable this jumpsuit is! Click here to check it out.
Another comfy fall look, styled the Ponte leggings and really loved the fit. They have a seam down the front and a high elastic waist. These would be great for teachers and a casual work office. I also would pair them with riding boots for fall.
I also really loved this tunic sweater, just need to order my size. This was medium and it was little big. Great tunic length and would be perfect with leggings.
Another way to style these Ponte leggings is with a longer tee and boyfriend blazer. I think this would make a great teacher/office look too. The blazer has an oversized fit, so size down one if you would rather it tailored.
So glad denim skirts have come back around. Old Navy has a few to choose from right now, and I grabbed the darker wash to style for fall. I also really wanted to try the black one but it wasn’t in store. Click here for the black skirt.
Denim skirts are easy to dress up with the right shoes and dress it down with a graphic tee and sneakers. Such a fun trending piece right now. (wearing a 4 in the skirt)
This blazer was #1 on my list to try and unfortunately everyone thinks so too. It is out of stock online in this color, but fully stocked in navy! They only had one medium in store, so I scooped it to try on. The fit was a little over sized, so I would say it is TTS.
A little outfit inspiration for you! Perfect date night look.

For reference, I usually wear a small in this brand unless noted.
This look was one of my favorites. The sandals were a comfortable fit with a small heel, so perfect for teachers or the office. They come in a tan/snake print also.
Cardigans are an easy way to dress up a look. Style them for work or with denim jeans. I love the longer cardigans that are coming back this year. This one comes in a few colors choices also.
This top is an easy $13 layering tee or wear alone. The 3/4 sleeve and boat neck give it a classic dressier look and can easily be styled for the office. It also comes in a stripe version, I shared awhile back! Click here for the stripes.
Make note, it is hard to tell but I changed out my black pants for the “skinny” crop pair. Shop both below to choose your best fit (both fit TTS-size 4 for me)
This tan snake skin blouse is an easy neutral snake skin to bring in a little print, if you aren’t wanting to be bold. I love how it can easily pass for a neutral. The fit is TTS.
Found the cutest slip ons that are comfortable too! They fit TTS. The hard part is deciding which ones to get! Shop slip ons here.
Both of these dresses I ordered for vacation and didn’t get a chance to wear. I love them both and thought they would make great casual dresses, especially for teachers! You could easily throw a denim jacket over it and change up your shoes for work or keep it casual for the weekend wit sandals or flip-flops. Both are under $30 and fit TTS. (wearing a small)
