Jeans Round Up | Under $100

Do you have a favorite, go to brand of jeans?  I feel like jeans are hard to shop for, but when you find that perfect brand that fits you just right……..it is seriously the BEST day ever!

This post is part one of some great jeans in my opinion.  When I am buying jeans there are a few things I always look for.  Price point is usually a good place to start.  Once I establish how much I am spending I try not to go over budget.  This doesn’t always work because that perfect pair can be a little over budget but change your life at the same time. 😉

Finding the right pair of jeans changes your mood, attitude and appearance!  I look for quality, comfort, stretch, and most importantly I try ALL sizes!  We as women get boxed in on “a size” when it should be how we feel instead of what size it is. I am so guilty of this. :/ (But these thoughts are a whole other blog post 😉 )

Everyone is different and we all like our jeans to fit a certain way.  I decided to dig in and try several brands and report back on some of my favorites.

JEANS #1

First up, are these BP step hem distressed jeans.  The price point of the brand is $60-$70.  I was a little hesitant on the distressing because I generally go with more of a classic look, but when I saw the sweet little patches of velvet I had to try these on.

I love this clothing brand, but the jeans are new to me.   I found the fit to be true to size with stretch.  I also love the step hem that is trending this year.  It is a great length and works well with booties or slides.  I love my Target slides that y’all have seen me wear over and over!  These booties are from last year but I love them and found a very similar pair here.

Another pair with less distressing:

JEANS #2

These next jeans, are my go to brand that I can count on fitting right every time.  I was so excited to try the button fly jeans.

Shop the look: Loft button fly jeans | Loft lace top | Nine West booties (old) | DSW Dr. Scholl’s slip ons

YES, button fly is back!  I ordered these online on a whim and so glad I did.  The high-waist is a must and the button fly seems to suck it all in.  (a winning combination!!)  The price point of these jeans is around $75, but they go on sale so often, it’s silly to pay full price.  Watch for Loft’s sale then jump on it!  The unpicked hem on this pair is so cute and the skinny jean looks great with boots, booties, flats or heels.  They are so easy to style and can be worn during the day or the darker wash makes them dressy for a night out.  Other jeans in this brand that I love and worth trying:

These jeans are all labeled as “modern fit” and come in petite, regular and tall sizes.   They also have a “curvy fit” skinny jean like these, which I have found gives more room in the thighs and hips.  I love when brands have all these options so you can try on what best suites you and makes you look great!

JEANS #3

Next up is the Kut From The Kloth brand.  I discovered this brand while shopping at my local boutique, Rue Bird Market.

I bought my first pair of KUT jeans after having Weston, my 1 year old.  Let me say these jeans have seriously been my go to pair.  They are extremely comfortable and won’t stretch out.  Rue Bird Market carries this brand if you are local and live near Katy/Houston area.  The last pair I bought from RB Market are these adorable pearl jeans, that are the same fit as my first pair of KUT jeans.

Check out my blog post all about Rue Bird Market and check out the trendy pearl jeans they have.  I also have found a similar pair if you love the pearl jeans, click here.

You can also find this brand at different retailers, like Nordstrom, Macy’s and Dillards.  The Connie fit are my favorite, but they have different fits to try, they also offer petite sizing.  I would say they run true to size, but if you are unsure, I would size down.

For reference, I am 5’6 and wearing a 2/26 in these jeans.  If you are wanting to try the KUT jeans, their price point is around $90, and if you are going to invest in a pair of jeans, these would be it for me.

There are tons of jeans out there and you don’t have to spend a fortune every time you buy a pair! Taking the time to find what fits and what size looks best on you is key.  Let me know if I can help you with your jean shopping as it’s my favorite thing to do!:)

I hope this post inspires you to try a pair of new jeans and help you find what fits best!

What is your favorite brand?  I am always looking for new brands to try!
