Hi friends,

So the first day of Spring came and went and the weather is just as crazy as ever!  I know some friends are getting snow right now, but here in Houston we actually are having a some nice days.  Not sure how long they will last, but I will take them while they are here!

I took a break last weekend on my Saturday Edition, since it was spring break and I was knee deep in all the boy fun a mom can have! ;).  We had a lot in Rockport with friends and cheered on our little guy in his Mutton Bustin ride.

But not to worry, I will get you all caught up on anything you may have missed last week!

Instagram Round Up

I have had a few requests for some date night looks!  This cami keeps selling out and coming back, but I also really love this one too!  The button detail is the perfect added touch and it comes in white too.  It is absolutely perfect for a date night in my opinion.  You can wear it alone with jeans or a skirt or throw on a blazer or denim jacket for more coverage!

Another date night look that I love is a classic black and white outfit!  This blouse has been on major repeat for me, and will be so cute with denim shorts this summer!  I also like to invest in a good pair of white denim jeans.  I love these jeans from LOFT.  They are stretchy, high-waisted and have a little bit of distressing but not too much!

Y’all also know I am a fan of these wedges.  They are super comfy and not too high.  I also have these from last summer, but sizes are selling out fast.  If you are looking for a date night look……this is it!!  For reference, I am a small in LOFT tops and usually go down 1 size in LOFT jeans)

I have a thing for stripes!  And when you find the cutest top for $17 you must snag it.  This cute little number will be perfect for spring and summer too.  The stripe is a red with a thin navy stripe.   I also have loved these boyfriend jeans.  They are $25 and so comfy!  I did size down 2 sizes in these jeans for the fit I liked.

More favorites and more stripes!! This stripe tunic that comes in pink is such a great staple item to have in your closet.  I love the longer length and the tapered fit.  This one has been on repeat since I first bought it.  For reference, I am wearing a small in this shirt.

Another favorite is this pullover that comes in 4 other colors and has been such a good piece to have!  I like to throw this pullover on after a workout, when running errands or here I wore it to my son’s baseball game.  It will also be perfect for chilly evenings this spring.  For reference, I am wearing a medium and feel like the fit is perfect.

I also am super excited to share that my DIFF sunglasses are ON SALE!!  This sale ends in two days, so hurry and shop if you have been wanting to try DIFF sunglasses.  They are such great quality and I love that they are polarized.  I have had my Bella frames for over a year, and they have held up great.

My last favorite I am sharing is this V neck tee!  The raw hem edge gives it a fun detail.  I love the bright pink for summer, but if you aren’t a pink fan this top comes in other colors too.  The best part, it’s $17!

For reference, I am wearing a small in this tee.  It is a very loose fit, so I could have possibly sized down to an XS.  Shorts are TTS, wearing a 4.  Slides I went up a 1/2 size.

What’s Happening in the Kitchen

If you follow my Facebook Page, I posted this taco salad earlier this week!  Making small changes in your diet to eliminate additives, preservatives, sugars and chemicals can make a huge difference.  I usually make tacos for my boys at least once a week!  I use to buy the pre-mixed packets, but have you ever looked at the ingredients.  Half of the stuff I can’t pronounce or don’t even know what it is.

Kitchen Tip: Try replacing those taco seasoning packets with your own mixture of seasonings, or I like to use this one.  It is all natural, no additives and a great taco seasoning.  My favorite, is it ships for free on Amazon!

FITNESS FAVORITE

**I linked both retailers that sell this particular shoe because they both offer different colors online, and the sizes are limited in the orange at Nordstrom.  Both Nike and Nordstrom offer free shipping and they both come pretty quick!

If you know me then you know fitness is a huge part of my life.  When I first saw these sneakers, I had to give them a try.  I have a few friends that swear by them, so I ordered and immediately started jogging and walking in them.  They are super comfy and love how light they are.

For reference, I always size up a 1/2 size in my running shoes.  I also linked my favorite high waisted Old Navy leggings, I am constantly talking about.  I love the compression fit and and the 7/8 legging length!
