SPRING | OLD NAVY TRY-ON

Hey friends,

Well I have decided to just jump into spring fashion in hopes it helps spring come sooner. This rain has gotta go! Our temps are not too cold here in the south, but the rain makes for long dreary days. The boys can’t play outside at all and we are going a little stir crazy!

I am excited to bring you all another try-on session. Thank you for sending your try-on store requests. This week, I headed to Old Navy and found lots of great spring items. What I have noticed too is the prices are cheaper online!

For reference, I have linked all items from this try-on session for easy one step online shopping. If you decide to shop you can click any image or link to take you directly to that item. I do make a small commission on items purchased. This helps me continue to do what I love and bring you the new style trends. Thank you for supporting ROC Blog! 🙂

LIGHT WEIGHT JACKET

shop the look: Jacket | skinny jeans | mules | stripe tunic in pink

I loved this LIGHT weight jacket that is perfect for our southern temps. I love the blazer look but it has a cozy cardigan feel. I tried a small on and the fit was a bit oversized which I liked. If you want more of a fitted look, I would recommend sizing down one size.

These rockstar jeans also fit great! I loved the dark wash and the raw hem at the bottom. I am wearing my normal Old Navy size in these. (size 2)

I tried these mules on and you will see them through out this blog post! I loved the fit and they felt extremely comfortable too. I went up a 1/2 size and the fit was perfect. They will be great for spring with a dress, and I also loved the way they looked with jeans! Click here to get yours.

DRESSES

shop: dress (size down for a fitted look) *wearing a small | DSW slip on shoes

My love for stripe dresses in every fit is strong! But not to worry if you aren’t a stripes fan both of these dresses come in solid colors too! I love the fit of this t-shirt ruffle sleeve dress. A great dress to throw and go! You could easily dress it up with wedges or throw on your favorite sneakers to dress it down. I tried on the small and liked the loose fit. If you want more of a fitted look I would recommend sizing down.

shop the looks: Stripe dress | denim jacket | mules (go up a half size)

This second stripe fit and flare dress is the perfect “work” to casual dress. I love the slimming fit and longer sleeves. For reference, this dress fit TTS. I am wearing a small.

If you are on the hunt for a denim jacket, I loved this one. The fit was great and the color was a good mix between not too light and not too dark. I am wearing a small for reference. Click here to get yours.

This dress reminded me of a J.Crew dress I tried last spring. I loved the linen feel and comfy fit and the colors are screaming SPRING TIME! This dress is also fully lined and fits TTS. (wearing a small) Click here to get yours.

I am excited to see denim skirts hit the shelves! I have been wanting to try this one on, and loved it! I tried the 2 and it fit “on my waist” I think I would be more comfortable in a 4 so I could wear the skirt lower on my waist. (possibly size up)

shop: denim skirt | pink stripe shirt

TOPS

I love a good button up shirt! Of course, I grabbed this stripe tunic that had a great fit and longer length. I can’t find this color online, but found it in pink. Click here for the pink stripe.

I also loved this mustard button shirt. The material is similar to a chambray shirt and so very soft. The mustard button up comes in several colors too! (both fit TTS-wearing a small) Click here to get yours.

These skinny jeans are the same pair from above and the fit GREAT!

I am loving all the pastels and bright colors going out for spring. This long sleeve pink stripe top comes in a light purple also and fit TTS. It is very similar to the tunic stripe top above except for it buttons all the way and has the added seam on the sleeve.

I also loved the short sleeve tie front top! Be sure to check out the pretty green gingham it comes in too. They didn’t have the green in store to try on, but it looks so pretty online!

shop: long sleeve pink stripe | short sleeve tie front top | boyfriend jeans |

My boyfriend jeans are from my last Old Navy try-on and they have become a fave! I love the fit and the straight leg boy friend fit isn’t baggy. I went with a size 2 which is my normal ON jean size. They do stretch out a tad, but not a lot.

shop the looks: blue shirt | stripe long-sleeve ruffle t-shirt | denim jacket | flare ankle jeans | mules

Excited to try these straight leg flare jeans. I love the light color for spring and the ankle fit is so fun to style with wedges, heels or flip flops for a casual day. These jeans fit TTS and were extremely comfortable.

Also, loved this blue short sleeve button up cap sleeve top. The fit was TTS and the color is perfect. Will look so great with white denim too! Click here to get yours.

I realized when I got home I didn’t take a picture with this stripe long sleeve shirt without a jacket. It has the cutest ruffle on the shoulder and is a perfect light weight top. I did size up to a medium on this one for a better fit. The small was too tight. It also comes in solid colors. Click here to get yours.

shop the look: Skinny olive jeans | floral blouse | stripe shirt (sized up one) | denim jacket (TTS) | mules

These olive green jeans were a great fit! I love wearing this color for spring. These jeans Fit TTS and come in other colors too! I loved the pink pair! Check them out here.

Old Navy has a lot of pretty floral tops out, like this short sleeve blouse. It looked great with the olive green jeans but could also be dressed up with slacks or a skirt for the office. Click here to grab yours.

Old Navy has the best t-shirts too! There are so many to choose from you can never go wrong. The lux fit is my favorite! Check them all out here.

shop: t-shirt | boyfriend jeans |

shop the look: plaid button up | boyfriend jeans | white jeans | DSW mules (went up a 1/2 size)

Another great top I ordered to try-on. I love the spring colors in the plaid and loved pairing it with both of these jeans. The white denim are high-waisted and have the slimming hidden pockets. I always size up in white denim and would recommend sizing up from your normal ON size. If you don’t care for the button fly, click here for a similar pair with a zipper.

Lastly, I ordered two suits to try out. I wore Old Navy swim suits last summer and always find that they fit TTS. shop all swim suits here. I really liked the full coverage fit of the stripe one piece.

The two piece had a great full coverage high-waist fit. Unfortunately one shoulder swimsuits don’t work for this momma of 3, but it is really CUTE! I loved the fit.
