FEBRUARY RECAP

Hey friends,

Well, I am ok to see February go! Our weather hasn’t been so pretty. We have had lots of cold and rainy days, with a few warmer days mixed in. Weston has been off and on sick this past month, so thankfully he is on the mend now. We are excited for baseball season to get started. Both boys have started practicing on new teams this year! My oldest is starting kid pitch for the first time, so it should be interesting to say the least. πŸ˜‰

I have been focusing more time on my blog this past month hoping to bring more of the items you guys are requesting and loving. I know you guys love try-ons, so I was able to crank out two big try-ons and one mini one. I also have gotten a request for swimsuit recommendations. So, stay tuned for that one.

I love doing this blog post every month and decided to rename it from “favorites” to “recap” because I it’s not just about the favorites, I love sharing updates, new finds, hacks and mom life!

Life Happenings

Weston went to his first little friend birthday party this past month and it was the cutest little Dino party. He was sick for the other 2 he was invited to, but 1 out of 3 is good right.!? He had so much fun and it was the perfect date with just my little guy!

Trader Joe’s is a favorite for so many, so this month I shared everyone’s written in favorites and compiled a list to publish for y’all! You guys loved it, so I plan to add to the list as new items are tried over the next couple of months. If you missed that blog post you can check out the fan favorites from Trader Joe’s by clicking here. I loved trying the cauliflower gnocchi and dried mango that were recommended on the list!

There isn’t enough hours in the day to write all the blog posts I wish I could write. Mom life keeps me to publishing about 1 a week consistently and if I am lucky I can sneak in another one. Target seemed to be a favorite this past month with one of my try-on sessions, so be sure to check that one out if you missed it!

New Beauty Finds

I love trying new products and well I am usually late to the game on most things I try. πŸ˜‰ I recently tried this NYX matte lip cream and LOVED it. I picked up the color “Istanbul” but also, was told to try “London” for a good neutral! Click here to check out the lip cream available at Target!

My latest find, is my Airbrush Leg Spray available at Target. It is the perfect last minute leg tanner for when you don’t have time to apply those lotions or get a spray tan. I used it for a blogging Valentine’s event I went to in the image above, and it added a little color and took out the redness. I love this spray because it goes on like a lotion and washes off when you shower that evening. It works really well for smoothing out redness and gives you a hint of color for when you have to wear a dress before you’ve seen sunshine! πŸ™‚ For reference, I use the shade “light”. You apply it by just spraying in on and rubbing in with your hands. It will dry in seconds and not rub off during the day. It doesn’t stain your hands either. The “color” will wash off when you shower. Easy and works great! Click here to grab yours!

Most clicked on item:

The most clicked on item for February were these Walmart dupe wedges! I saw them in store and they are identical to the more expensive pair. The online picture DOES NOT do these shoes justice. The fit was TTS and the leather strap wasn’t stiff. Definitely worth a shot if you don’t want to pay $80 for this pair. Click here for the dupes. (TTS) Click here for the splurge pair. (I’ve heard to go a 1/2 size in this pair)

MY FAVES

Of course, everything is my fave! πŸ˜‰ I really loved this stripe linen dress from my Old Navy try-on. The fit was TTS and the colors are perfect for spring! It also comes in a maxi version that I am stalking for restocks in my size. Click here to check it out! These cognac mules were also extremely comfortable and the fit was great. I love how they looked with jeans and the dresses I tried on. I went up a 1/2 size when I tried them and the fit was great. Click here to check out my blog post to see the mules.

Old Navy stripe dress

Another favorite this month for me was this $25 stripe Amazon find! I love the casual feel this dress has, and it can easily be dressed up with heels and accessories! For reference, I am wearing a small and the fit is TTS.

Speaking of shoes, this is my THIRD pair of this brand and let me just say they are worth it! If you are looking for a comfortable pair of slip on sneakers you must try these! I have them in black and blush too and love the fit, and the cushion! These are a little of a splurge, but you won’t regret it. The fit is TTS. Click here to grab a pair.
