Jeans Under $100 | Part 2

Ok!  We are talking all about jeans again.  If you saw my last post about some of my favorite jeans then you will want to continue with this post.  Check out Part 1 here.  I went from trying on jeans to now searching for the perfect pair of black denim jeans at a reasonable price.

I love wearing black denim in the fall and winter.  Depending on the style and wash you can dress them up or down for any occasion.  I get so much wear out of my black jeans……from mid day errands on a Monday to holiday gatherings and Christmas parties on a Saturday night.

What are your favorite black denim jeans?   I have a hard time spending a lot on black jeans because I typically find that I wash them more to keep their shape and this causes them to fade quicker than I would like them too. (even the expensive ones)   So, I decided to dig a little and try a few brands to see how they wear and wash.

JEANS #1

First up, are these black jeans, that I mentioned in my first blog post.  I love that they come in black and you still have all the choices from modern to curvy fit to petite, regular or tall fit.  The price point is around $70, but like I always say…..wait for a sale!  LOFT usually runs great sales through out the month!

These jeans are so comfortable and have the perfect amount of stretch to them.  They have a streamline fit with a mid-rise waist.  Again, they look great dressed up or down and can easily go from day to night out.

I am still loving my black pair from last year.  I recently bought the style and fit in these black faded wash with a frayed hem.   I absolutely the frayed hem trend going on.  You may recognize them from my latest blog post about sweaters and scarves.  If you missed that one, you can check it out by clicking here.  🙂

They have the same great fit, and the wash gives these jeans an edgy feel.  They are slim through the hips and again have a mid-rise waist that isn’t too low.  They look great with booties or would be perfect for a night out in heels.

JEANS #2

Another brand of black jeans that are new to my wardrobe are these STS Blue ankle skinny jeans.  When I saw the price point is under $50, and the reviewers online seemed to rate this pair high I had to give them a try.

I paired these jeans with one of my favorite lace tops that I am excited to dress up for the holidays and my go to slides that are under $25!  This top also comes in dark green and mineral purple.  These jeans are a classic shade of black and hit perfectly at the ankle, which makes them easy to pair with just about any shoe.  They are high waisted which is always a plus in my book!

I would say they are true to size, as I am wearing a 4/27, and they have great stretch.  I am wearing these this fall and will see how they wear, but so far I am loving the way they look and feel for under $50!

JEANS #3

So now for jeans on a budget, I have found these black skinnies to be great.  They are a terrific basic black pair of jeans and you will spend less than $30 on them.  I wore these jeans after my last two babies, because they have great stretch to them, and I wasn’t spending too much on my after baby clothes.   If you are looking for jeans on a budget, but still look great, these jeans are it!

Finding a good pair of jeans that fits you can be challenging, but once you find it you won’t be disappointed.  I don’t always feel like the most expensive pair is the best.  Trying on a variety of brands is what I like to do.  It takes time, but I always feel so much better when I know money spent on an item was well spent! 🙂

I hope this post has inspired you to try a new brand or find that perfect pair of black jeans.  I can’t wait for winter evenings in my black denim.
