January & February Favorites

Hi friends,

Wow! Can y’all believe this year is already flying by.  It is March and April is coming up quick!  I am excited about spring slowly creeping up on us, but not excited about the allergies.  My middle son already started his allergy cough and runny nose.  This happens every year at this time.  I also always feel like this season makes me more tired?  Is that just my imagination?

Today in this blog post I am excited to share your favorites over the last two months!  I love to study and look at my reports to see what you guys loved the most from what I am showing you.  This gives me an idea of what to shop for and style.

First up are the Article of Society stretchy distressed jeans.  These jeans are mid-rise and super comfy.  They have a good amount of stretch to them, so sizing is recommended to size down one.  I did size down and they work perfect for me.

I love the darker wash and really like that the distressing isn’t too much distressing.  If you know what I mean.  These jeans are at a good price point for under $65 with free shipping.  This first way I styled these jeans was with this $13 sweater and nude heels. *I sized down a 1/2 size in these heels.  This is an easy look for a date night or slip on flats for a day of running around town.

Another peek at these jeans with one of my favorite button up shirts and booties.  These booties are still available in limited sizes and also come in black.  They are still on sale for under $60 too!  I love this brand and also love wearing booties year round.  Click here for similar booties.  This shirt is under $50 and isn’t like your normal button up.  It is soft and breezy, not stiff and thick.  It comes in multiple prints and ships for free.  It is worth the extra expensive in my opinion.

Y’all were really loving jeans because up next is another pair of jeans that I have heard so many of you LOVE!

These LOFT jeans have been a go to favorite of mine too!  When I first saw these come out I knew I had to have them just because of the button fly.  These jeans do fit TTS but it is recommended to order a size down if you are in between sizes.  I sometimes size down in LOFT jeans for a better fit.  These don’t have as much stretch as the first pair of jeans we talked about, but they do have some.  I love the detail on the hem and the button fly gives them a different look.  I can throw these jeans on with a t-shirt and sandals for a casual day or dress them up with heels for a date night.   I hope you are loving yours as much as I love mine.

SHIRT FAVORITES

This long sleeve stripe t-shirt is for sure a fan favorite!  Y’all have loved this one so much and it is now on sale for $15.  It comes in solid colors too!  I love that this top is longer, so you can pair it with leggings, and I will for sure bring these shirts into spring and summer and pair them with shorts or even wear over my swimsuit on those breezy beach evenings.

For reference, I am wearing a small in this shirt.  It gives me an oversized comfortable wear.  If you want more of a fitted look, it does recommend sizing down.  (also there’s those button up jeans again 🙂 )

Next up was this peplum top that was a top seller!  I know you guys love this one as much as I do!  Unfortuately it finally did sell out, so I hope if you were eyeing it you were able to snag it!  I did have a chance to find a few new peplum tops that you might like.  This trend is so flattering and I am excited it is sticking around for awhile.

The last t-shirt favorite is this BP raw hem edge V-neck that I recently posted with one of my favorite denim jackets.  I just ordered this top in pink and love that it comes in multiple colors.  For reference, I am wearing a small, but possibly could wear an XS.  I love the hot pink color and love that this tee is only $17!  The material is a thin, more stretchy fabric, so will be a great loose fitting comfortable tee this summer.

SHOE FAVORITES

shop the look: Target dress | Target necklace | DSW wedges | stripe wedges |

Now that the freezing temps have somewhat disappeared here I have enjoyed taking out my wedges in anticipation for spring!

The cognac pair were an instant favorite when I posted them with this Target, olive green dress.  These wedges have been my go to since last summer and are still available in 4 colors, but sizes are limited.  This color is under $45 and they are very comfortable to walk around in.

Now, for the stripe cuties on the right!  When I saw these I had to grab a pair.  I love anything blue and white stripe and y’all do too!  They will be perfect for this spring and summer.  They area other comfortable slip-on wedge that I can wait to style more ways for y’all.  For reference, both these wedges fit true to size.

BEAUTY FAVORITE
So many favorites picked by you guys!  The last favorite I am going to share is the Revlon volumizer and dryer in one.  I use this at least once a week for a quick, sleek blow dry and straightening in one.  I’d love to hear your opinions if you have tried it.  I love it and it helps give my hair the sleek soft feel of a blowout!

beauty favorites: Revlon- hair volumizer dryer | Mai Tai spray | Dry Bar-texture spray

You can always peek at my beauty tab on my blog for the items I use daily and love.  Feel free to message me with any questions about any of the products!
This Revlon dryer has been a game changer.  I use it just like I am blow drying my hair with a round brush.  I start in sections and just roll it through my hair nice and slow until it is dry.  My hair is thick, so I do small sections all over.  I blow dry the crown of my head in the opposite direction of my part to give my hair more volume and lift at the roots.  This tool works wonders for me and I love how it makes my hair soft and silky, like I just stepped out of the salon!

I had so much fun sharing all the favorites!  Lastly, these are the 4 blog posts that you were loving!
